This challenging yet
scenic golf
course attracts regulars from throughout northeast Oregon and southeast
Washington. Inexpensive rates ($21 for 18 holes weekends) as well as
easy
access add to the attractions of this 9-hole municipal golf course with
a pro shop, snack bar, driving range,
and cart
rentals.
The course is located
in the historic
community of Echo, just one mile off of I-84, Exit 188.
The town is 20 miles west
of Pendleton
and 8 miles south of Hermiston.
The course is
located on the
rolling hills overlooking the Umatilla River Valley, a green oasis in
the
eastern Oregon desert. Par 72, 5,867 yards, rated 67.6.
